Description
This conversion works by having the links print in threes, simultaneously support each other as they print, navigating towards each other using 45 degree ramp overhangs
I've also designed in sacrificial parts (to be printed in 0.2mm height and 0.4mm line thickness) at the clearance interacitons. The "no sac" STL file is if you want to use your own supports.
I've also altered the telescoping barrel (i.e. dart air seal) to be a ramp instead of step, and added fillets where possible to stop sharp internal bends (i.e. stress concentrators), as the vertical print tends to be more fragile.
This thing is still partially WIP, I'm uploading early since there seem to be a couple of vulcan projects ongoing in the hobby, and I'd rather not hold them up in the event that I don't get round to finishing reworks/fixes anytime soon.
I've not worked on this since I lost interest in Vulcans, and I realised that I've gone a few more iterations I never got round to uploading.
