Description
The Messerchmitt Bf 109 (also known as Me 109) was one of the most iconic aircrafts of the Second World War, and is across its variants the most produced fighter in history. It entered service in 1937 and was at the time seen as very advanced. During its production it would continuously be upgraded along with the technical arms race, and it also saw several adaptations into other roles. After the war, variants were produced by both Czechoslovakia and Spain. It wasn't retired in Spanish service until 1965.
This model is based on B. Huber's line art, and takes inspiration from the work of user Nakozen. The scale is about 1:144.
The parts can be separated from the frame using the “Split to Objects” function in PrusaSlicer. Files include looser fitting versions and versions featuring a sturdier, easier to print canopy. The wing featuring a rod (pitot tube) goes on the left side of the fuselage.
