Bolt Puzzle

This is a very simple looking bolt puzzle. The goal of the puzzle is to take all three bolts off the screw. This looks impossible because there is a screw cap on either side. The assembly of this puzzle will show you how to solve it, so if you want to figure it out yourself, have someone else print it for you and assemble it. If you plan to have someone else print the puzzle for you, do not read any further than this.

Print Instructions

• Material: PLA or other material for extra strength
• Orientation: print straight up and down or sideways with supports for extra strength
• Supports: does not require support if printed vertically, but does if printed horizontally

Assembly

When you assemble the puzzle, make sure to screw the two ends tightly together and cover the seem with one of the bolts. The bolt should be able to go anywhere on the screw, including over the seam, but you might have to apply a little more force to get them over the seam the first few times.
