Description
A topic that comes up regularly is table space for board games. Sometimes you can help yourself by adding a small table next to your gaming group - or storing needed pieces in a sub-optimal situation. Or only a little bit more room per player would be required.
So why not extend the table by clamping something to the table next to the players? But then, everyone has different needs / different tables.
Therefore I designed a modular table extender - mainly focused on the needs of boardgamers. But it could also be handy for office tables for snacks and drinks :-).
For the assembly, you screw the base components (rails, center modules, etc) together. Clamp it to the table (you can also place it on the table if you want). Then add the ‘inserts’ like dice tower, phone holder, chits or deck of cards holder, snacks, and glass holder to your liking.
Prior to printing ahead - take a look into the 3D printing guidebook and print a test sample (see description in the pdf as well).
In addition, I uploaded a template as a stp-file to create your own large/medium inserts as well as to create different-sized centerpieces.
This is by far my biggest project until today. A lot of thinking as well as test prints went into it.
I appreciate it if you gave a like, rated it, and uploaded a make after you printed it. If you have questions - leave a comment.
If you want to support me to further provide projects like this or to create additional modules consider joining my printables club - even if you donate only once I would appreciate it. You can also obtain a commercial license for all my models.
Enough wall of text - what are you wanting for? Happy printing :-)
