Catan Tile Mount

Have you ever been in the middle of a game of Catan when someone bumped the board and messed all the pieces up? You of course frantically scramble to place all the tiles back in the organization they were, but sometimes you do not get it right. This Catan piece mount is the perfect solution for this situation. All you have to do is snap your pieces into these mounts and then use the built-in dovetail joints to slot them together. Now, no matter whether the board is bumped, your pieces will stay in the organization that they were set up in. 

Notes

This board is compatible with both the new and old version of Catan and the normal Catan game, along with the cities and knights and seafarers expansion packs. If using the cities and nights expansion pack, please note that this board does not have a place for the barbarians to be placed, although it should be fine just placed off to the side and used that way.

Please note that the older version of Catan has a tighter fit in these mounts and the newer version has a looser fit, although both stay in just fine if printed with a well calibrated printer. For the health of your pieces, taking them in and out of these mounts on a regular basis would not be recommended, because overtime the joints for snapping them in may where away at the edges of the pieces.

Instructions

• Decide on the color that goes best with your Catan board (you may want to do one color for the ocean and another color for the land)
• Print the required number of pieces for your game (the default game is 37 pieces)
• Place your tile pieces inside the mounts (the pieces snap in and are a relatively snug fit)
• Slide your pieces together to create your Catan board (you may have to pay special attention to the ports and how they are oriented depending on the version you have)
• Enjoy your bump resistant game of Catan
