Description
Fits within the game board for Settlers of Catan, replacing the desert tile.
Allows players to drop dice in the top and captures them at the bottom and gives the robber a place to sit while not in use.
Parts have an interference fit and pop into place. No glue required to hold them together.
There are .step .stl and .3mf files available to download.
25/10/2023 - I had trouble printing the top of the chute but also know my printer is not yet tuned for optimal printing.
29/10/2023 - Updated the chute design to simplify things for printing and remove material, to speed up printing.
5/11/2023 - Increased the height of walls on the base to better hold the dice once they have been dropped.
23/11/2023 - Tested with gameboard. Fits well and dice can be viewed well from most positions around the game table. Small chance of dice spitting out onto gameboard, testing indicates roughly 80% of rolls stay contained within the dice tower.
