Description
Original design for the 2023 Christmas Community Print Drive.
Set the scene or mark your territory with this cute Pirate Flag. The flag and the base print separately and fit together for a fun display. Base prints without supports and can be rotated to show either side with the front of the flag.

The “Base” model is approximately 117 x 70 x 24 mm. I printed it with 0.25 mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 4 solid top and bottom layers, and 20% infill. No supports. No raft.
The “Flag for Base” model is approximately 100 x 70 x 4.5 mm. The color swap for the flag is at 3.5 mm height; the skull and crossbones is 1 mm thick. I printed with 0.25 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 3 solid top and bottom layers and 15% infill.
To get the texture on the top layer, after two solid layers, I printed with 80% honeycomb infill on the top layer, but this is not required for the toy drive. Also, for my next round of printing, I changed the skull and crossbones to have 1 perimeter and this allowed more room for the external infill and created a more complete surface (see photo of four at the end).
