This is a print-in-place replacement wheel for an old series metal Canadian Magen David Adom donation box.
Required hardware
One M3x20 socket head screw per wheel
Printing instructions
Print the .stl file as-oriented (outside part of the wheel flat on the print bed).
You can use supports to get a cleaner insertion point for the screw, but I didn't.
The .stl file is optimized for a 0.2mm layer height.
Installation instructions
Insert the screw through the wheel centre.
Remove any old axle on the ambulance.
Position the wheel so the overhang is above the rolled metal (that ensures proper alignment of the wheel).
Gently screw the wheel in, ensuring the overhang stays above the rolled metal.
Safety warnings
The wheel by itself is a choking hazard for young children. Please use adult supervision.
Notes
I designed this model in OpenSCAD and it's fully parameterized. If you'd like a simple modification for another purpose (i.e., diameter, screw size, etc.), send me some measurements and I'll see what I can do.
