Description
This is a diorama that I always wanted to do and it is perfect time to make it since Hot Wheels finally made a VW Corrado VR6.
I figure this is the best diorama to pair with it since this is where we were given a VW Corrado VR6 as the starter car in game after a short drive with the cover car.
Checkout my showcase video:
The diorama is separated into multiple parts for easy printing. All files are packed into a zip file and arranged in folder as follow:
Nozzle size = 0.5 mm (0.4 will be printable and smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm
Filament change layer for colours on "FlatBase - Pt1.STL":
1) Start (Road lines colour, mine is in white)
2) Layer 3 (Overall road colour, mine is in black)
Filament change layer for colours on "Dinner walls":
1) Start (Overall gaps colour, mine is in black)
2) Layer 8 (Panels colour, mine is in brown)
3) Layer 11 (Frame colour, mine is in silver)
Filament change layer for colours on "Roof - Pt1" & "Roof - Pt2":
1) Start (Roof top colour, mine is in brown)
2) Layer 16 (Stripe 1 colour, mine is in red)
3) Layer 22 (Stripe gap colour, mine is in brown)
4) Layer 27 (Stripe 2 colour, mine is in blue)
5) Layer 33 (Stripe gap colour, mine is in brown)
The car is just placed on the diorama, there are no holes to tie the cars down by wire.
It is recommended to use glue for the diner base and pillar build but all other areas are fine with just using double sided tapes.
Check out my assembly video to give you a better idea on how the build supposed to go:
Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs is welcomed too.
