Description

This model is one from my extensive Children's Toys Collection.

Trap the cap (also known as Coppit / Fang den Hut / Hütchenspiel) is one of the best-known and most traditional board games. Two to four players try to hunt and trap as many caps belonging to other players as they can and to carry these off to their hideout without being caught themselves.

Here is a variation of the board game. Same rules, but in another dimension, bringing a whole new perspective to the game.

The dimensions of the game board are 21 x 21 x 5.8 cm, making it a perfect fit for the Prusa MK4. Unfortunately, this design is not suitable for Prusa Mini owners. Sorry.

I would love to store the game in a fitting and suitable box. Perhaps it could inspire someone among you to create one. :-)

If you're not familiar with the rules, you can read them here:

  • english: How to play Trap the cap
  • deutsch: Spielregeln für Fang den Hut

Printing information

  • I printed all the parts using PLA and a 0.6mm nozzle.
  • I recommend 0.2 mm layer height. Due to many overhangs, I'm not sure if a larger layer height would result in a good print.
  • Support is not required for any part.
  • All stl files are correctly aligned on the print bed.
