Flying spitfire - single print

Overview

A flying model of a British fighter from World War II.

It has two versions

One with rotating propeller - it is presenting better and is more fun to play with, but flying is not as good as should be because propeller generate air resistance, and if it crash the propeller can break.

Second one without propeller - it is better for flying than first one without problem with propeller.

Instruction

Printed with PLA, 0.2 mm layer height. 

Every version is printing in one piece however it is need to use supports.

The wing is only one layer so good first calibration layer is required.

To fly you need to remove supports and bend up a little steer at the tail.

It is good to use PEI sheet as it is easy to remove without bend the wing. 

It is my the heaviest single print flying model (11.5 g). Flying inside can generate little dents in the wall :) You can prevent it if you put a little piece of plasticine (playdoh) at tip of nose.

Due to winter it has not been tested outdoors yet, but indoors it flew through my entire house, about 10 meters
