Tails - With Spinning Tails

This combines the ball bearing spinner from “Sonic The Hedgehog Fidget Spinner” with the character model from “Tails - Classic”. The result is a 100% anatomically correct (wink wink) model with spinning tails.

Printing instructions

Find the full set of original model files at https://www.printables.com/model/642016-tails-classic 

• Replace “tail_orange_left” and “tail_orange_right” from with “tails_spinner”.
• Replace “body” with “body_spinner”.

When slicing, be careful with infill settings on the body - the extension up towards the ball bearings holds a lot of weight and should be as strong as possible (I used 15% grid infill and that part was hollow, so it snapped x_x).

• You might even want to reinforce with (metal/wood) dowels since the model may be picked up and handled more than a fully static version.

Assembly instructions

Friction fit between body → ball bearings → tails should be enough, and then the model can stand on its feet + tails. The tails can spin freely if you hold it from the body or head.
