Arkham Horror Gate Token Holder

3D MODEL DESCRIPTION

Gate token holders for Arkham Horror board game by Fantasy Flight Games (should also work with Eldritch Horror).

I designed these to look like they were an arcane seal which has been broken and opened the portal. On the back there is a ruined elder sign hidden in the stonework.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

This was designed for resin printers but after many questions I tried it on my voron v2.4 printer. The white unfinished print in the images is from that test (0.2mm layer height in PLA) and while it is definitely not as good as the resin print I think it will be serviceable after some finishing work. Supports on some of the tentacle overhangs will be necessary for FDM as well, this is not support free. I printed these vertically four at a time on my Anycubic Photon.

After removing supports and sanding any rough spots I primed these and then did a base coat of grey acrylic paint and then a wash with very diluted black paint to fill all the cracks in the stone. The tentacles were then painted and washed with their respective colors to test out some options.

The painted photos are made on the Anycubic Photon in resin, the white model was FDM on a Voron v2.4.
