Description
Introduction:
Thanks @soozafone again for sharing the Dummy 13 to the community. It is a great framework/foundation for facilitating other creators.
After fixing the chest and make it more organic, I think it is time to improve other parts. Considering the fact that fully human style action figure (organic shape, hidden joints) is not the best fit for FDM printer, I choose to adopt android style design.
The Design
In additional to improved body shape, I also put fully printable and variable in mind during the design of these add-on.
My head parts are modular and able to create short hair, ponytail, twin tail hair styles (even more if you wish).
I also include a modified waist part that allow attaching the adaptive style parts to waist.
Printing Suggestion:
To build the figure from nothing, use the folder “PlatedParts”. It contains everything you need for building a complete figure.
I tried my best to reduce the need of support and brim, unfortunately they are still required for some parts.
Most part can be printed in 0.2mm layer height. However, layer height less than 0.1mm is recommended for head parts, adaptive style parts and chest parts.
| Plate | Description | Suggestion |
| all-frame-parts.3mf | Original frame parts | Suggest print with ASA/PETG using 0.15mm layer height.
|
| HandsSet.3mf | Hands collection | Print using 0.2mm layer height. |
| Plated_Armor_HighResolution.3mf | High detail parts such as face and body | Requires support and brim. Print using 0.08mm layer height.
|
| Plated_Armor_NormalResolution.3mf | Other armor parts | Print using 0.2mm layer height. |
| StyleParts_SimpleAssembly.3mf | Add-on part for decoration | Print with 0.2mm layer height |
Assembly Instruction and Video:
Drop-in replacement of existing Armor parts of Dummy 13. Fully printable and no screw is required.
However, you may want to use some BlueTrack to enforce parts if they are too loose.
