Description
Forged out of the depths of a Prusa MK3S+ extruder head, Finger-Mjolnir! And to keep your Thor-finger busy during Ragnarok, Thor’s archenemy, Finger-Jormungandr!
Mjolnir: Thor's hammer, forged by dwarves.
Jormungandr: aka Jormungand or Midgard serpent; Loki's child.
Ragnarok: Final battle between Norse Gods and Giants where Thor and Jormungandr fight.
Mjolnir: 46 mm x 40 mm x 26 mm, 16-mm interior diameter for finger, finger hole extends 43 mm into the head of Mjolnir to keep the center of mass positioned over your finger for maximum Jormungandr-bashing leverage.
Jormungandr: 46 mm x 28 mm x 22 mm, 16-mm interior diameter for finger, finger hole extends 29 mm into the head of Jormungandr to keep the center of mass positioned over your finger for maximum Mjolnir-dodging control.
Both printed in Prusament PETG Prusa Orange, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm (quality) layer height, with random seam position. Change seam position to aligned if you want to give Mjolnir a scratch or Jormungandr a scar.
Mjolnir: Print with top of hammer on the print sheet, handle/finger hole upwards. No supports required.
Jormungandr: Print as oriented, with head pointing upward. Used organic supports painted on, only in the finger hole, no other supports required. Some stringing around the teeth and between the forked tongue.
I recommend printing Jormungandr in PLA (less stringing and weaker) and print Mjolnir in PETG (or PLA with more perimeters). Then your Thor-finger can do what Thor loves doing most…bashing Giants and Jormungandr. Wield Mjolnir to see how many of Jormungandr’s teeth you can break off or if Jormungandr can draw blood from finger-Thor.
