NASA Icebreaker car modified from American Car Foundry 50' 6" Boxcar in HO scale. For this model you will need to print the following amounts from the list. Decals are provided in a SVG and PNG with each showing the location of the decals on the car. 

  • 1x Boxcar end 1
  • 1x Boxcar end 2
  • 2x Coupler cover A
  • 2x Coupler cover B
  • 2x Boxcar Side
  • 1x Floor
  • 1x Roof
  • 1x Brake Part 1
  • 1x Brake Control 1
  • 1x Brake Air Cylinder
  • 1x Brake Wheel
  • 2x End Bracket
  • 1x Mid Bracket
  • 14x Pins
  • 2x Iceguard
  • 1x Iceguard mirror

You will also need the following additional parts to assemble the car.

  • 3 M2x4 screws
  • 2 M2x8 screws
  • 4 Wheel sets or 2 trucks with wheels
  • 2 couplers
  • Aprox. 28 grams of weight
  • Glue

Instructions:

  1. Glue 2x Pins into the mid bracket
  2. Glue step 1 into the bottom middle of the Roof
  3. Glue 2x pins into the End Bracket and glue Boxcar end 1. Repeat with the other boxcar end
  4. Insert and glue 6x pins into the side of the assembly from step 3. Attach boxcar side to these pins. Repeat with other side.
  5. Insert weights to the bottom of the boxcar floor. 
  6. Attach the floor using 1x M2x4 screw in the middle hole. 
  7. Create a coupler box assembly using Coupler box A, Coupler box b, a coupler, and 1x M2x8 screw. 
  8. Attach the assembly using the screw to the ends of the Floor.
  9. Attach the two trucks using 2x m2x4 screws. 
  10. Glue the Iceguards to the ends of the car
  11. Glue the Iceguard middle to the middle location.
