Miniature Bike Chain (Roller Chain) - Tough!

This miniature bike chain is both tough, and tough-to-build. 8mm pitch.

Useful for high-end toys, or unique, durable costume jewelry, such as watch bands, necklaces, rings, bracelets, fidget toys, and more. 

Incorporating filament scraps makes this design very-strong (no layer lines).

1. Scale spacers to desired height. This will be the width of the chain.
2. Print the  links with 0.2mm layer height or lower.
3. Print flat on print bed with no supports & no fan for highest-strength.
4. Stitch together with chunks of used filament (see pictures).
5. Insert spacers in center.
6. Use lighter, 3D pen, or heat tool to soften ends of filament.
7. Press hot filament with finger or thumb to rivet links together.
8. Don't burn yourself.
