Description
A fun collection of mini buildings creates a surprisingly complicated strategy game. All modeled in SolidWorks. I've uploaded the 3MF printing assemblies of the different villages (since the mesh models have to be recombined after being exported from SW) you will probably want to change the print setting to fit your needs. The base has a conical cut and plug, I used this for filling the base with salt to add some weight.
Leave the church in the village - Lass die Kirche im Dorf
Who will be the first to successfully build their village with a church?
At first the board is empty, only the priest is on the center square. This priest naturally needs a church, and this belongs in a village. This also describes the aim of the game.
The first player to build a contiguous village (diagonal does not count) with a church (church tower and nave contiguous and not in an edge square) is the winner. The players take it in turns to place their buildings. The church tower and nave are already on the field. They are placed in the diagonally opposite corners. At the beginning of the game, your own buildings must not touch each other! Then you move, but only in the direction of the gable. After each move, the corresponding building must be rotated by 90 degrees to change the direction of the move. And then there's the other player, who stands in the way or even blocks you.
If you have got yourself into an unfavorable situation, the priest may be able to help.
He can swap places with any tile.
Update 2025-11-06 - Added a wooden/stone base that is significantly cooler looking
