Description

My Sides project is a bit similar to the 3D version of Tic Tac Toe, but it has an important difference: each cube is painted in three colors, which makes the game more versatile and gives a new experience. 2 or 3 participants can play.
The rules of the game are very simple, and the gameplay is unusual and exciting. The main task is to build a line of three squares of the same color in any of the five planes (except for the sixth plane-the base of the cubes). The sides hidden behind neighboring cubes are not taken into account.
The example shows a field in which blue wins, but crimson and green do not:

The lid of the box is a playing field that can be used together with the base - it is more convenient to rotate the playing field to see the situation from the reverse side. However, you can determine which color is on the "invisible" side without turning the game over, since the opposite colors of the cubes are identical (small colored spots on the edges make this even easier).
Printing and assembly do not require much effort. There is no need to support printing, gluing or processing. All the parts are simply printed out and inserted into the slots:

Printing and assembly is effortless. No printing support required, no gluing or processing required. In total, 4 types of parts are needed: the base of the cube and the insert, as well as the box and its cover. At the base of the cube, the upper and lower parts are printed in the second color by changing the thread on the pause, and the side parts of the cube are simply printed and inserted into the grooves. In the file 3mf, where 9 cubes are collected, these pauses have already been created, you need to print three copies. There are only 9 inserts in the Tic-Tac_Sides_9_Inserts.3mf file, so it needs to be printed 6 times. I also changed the plastic to a lighter one at the bottom of the box lid (Tic-Tac_Sides_Box_top.3mf) to make the logo more visible.

If you do not want to make a change of filament during the printing process, then you can use three files in the name of which contains V2 - this is the base of the cube and two types of sides that snap together:

You can use any material, I printed SBS, but I am sure that the option from PLA or PETG will be no less feasible.

I wanted to make an interesting and beautiful game, but at the same time as simple as possible. It seems to me that it worked. Perhaps a similar solution exists in the world, but my search showed only remote options (and this option is not described in Wikipedia).
I hope you enjoy the simplicity of typing and playing!
