Description
I designed this laser cut dice tower with living hinges after attending PAX Unplugged to share with friends as a way to learn more about laser cut living hinges and Fusion 360 Sheet Metal Tools.
The dice tower rolls up around three shelves that are held in place with tabs and little clips. It can be assembled or disassembled in about a minute with practice.
The tower stands 180mm tall and is a 100mm in diameter. Flattened the tower is 300mm x 100mm. The living hinges and tabs are sized for 1/8" birch plywood (aka 3mm).
On a Epilog Fusion M2, the whole tower takes about 8 minutes to cut and if you are really careful, you can fit 2 full towers onto a 24"x12"x1/8" sheet of plywood. I have not tried it with similarly sized acrylic yet.
