Description

This floating otter bath toy was designed for the flash contest. It is a no-support model with optional magnets.

Magnets: Spaces are left within the models to place 6x3 enclosed magnets during your prints. There are three spaces for the adult otters (one in each hand and one in the belly) and one for the baby and shell. You will need to pause twice for the large otter as the belly magnet is higher.

**Pro tip: reverse the polarity on the hands so you can have an otter floatilla!

Print size for the adult otter at 100% is 130mm/5in. Can be scaled up or down, but will need different size magnets.

NOTE: While the adult otter is large enough for small children, the small accessories (baby otter and shell) pose a choking hazard. As with any small item, use discretion and keep them away from children under 3.

Printed on Ender 3v2 and Ender 2 Pro in PLA

Supports: no

Brim: no

Layer height: adult otter: 0.2mm, baby otter and shell 0.1mm

Infill: recommend 10%

*Update 2-29-2024: Several printers have said the second magnet can get sucked back up after placement. Consensus is a little dot of glue or sticky tack will keep the magnet in place while it is being covered. There are several helpful comments if you are having this problem
