Realistic Canoe

Floats like a dream too!

Designed originally as wedding favours, this canoe is great for any canoeing or outdoor enthusiast. 

Printing instructions:

With an MMU or other colour printer (or if you want one solidly coloured piece), choose either:

• Canoe_Combined or 
• Canoe_Combined_With_Cat

Make sure to place supports under the seats and yoke. For best quality on the hull of the boat, I found placing the canoe with the bottom flat on the sheet and horizontal to the print bed yielded the best results. 

If you want colour without an MMU or colour printer:

If you want to print a colour canoe without a multicolour printer, print one of each of the following in the colours of your choice:

• Canoe_Base
• One of:
  • Canoe_Bow_Seat
  • Canoe_Bow_Seat_with_Cat
• Canoe_Gunwale
• Canoe_Stern_Seat
• Canoe_Yoke

For the seats, changing the colour near the top of the seats will give the print a neat woven look.

Assembly:

You can place each piece in the canoe with the glue of your choice. I found it was easiest to assemble in the following order: stern seat>bow seat>yoke>gunwale

If you have a soldering iron you can also use it to melt the four corners of each seat, and the yoke into the canoe.
