Description

my take on the balloon head fighters like the ones in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6173073

print in ABS, PLA, PETG or Nylon
supports needed for almost all parts

you'll need:

  • 3-4mm elastic cord (round or flat)
  • double face tape or glue or 2x 2.5mm wood screws (for each fighter)
  • wooden tooth picks
  • 3.5mm wooden skewers/barbecue sticks (or any 3.5mm sticks)
  • 2.5in party balloons (lots of them)

for each fighter, print:

  • 2x pé.stl (foot)
  • 2x canela.stl (shin)
  • 1x coxa D.stl (R thigh)
  • 1x coxa E.stl (L thigh)
  • 1x tronco.stl (torso)
  • 2x antebraço.stl (forearm)
  • 2x braço.stl (arm)
  • 1x mão D.stl (R hand - sword hand)
  • 1x mão E.stl (L hand - shield hand)
  • 1x base.stl (flat base) or 1x base parafuso.stl (base with holes to the wood screws)

each fighter will require two pieces of the elastic cord, one for the upper limbs and the other to the lower limbs. there is a path underneath the base to help tightening the lower limbs elastic cord, so the fighter may stand on its feet.

the flat base (base.stl) may be fixed to a board using double-sided tape or glue. the base parafuso.stl file has holes for 2.5mm wood screws

the left foot is to be placed a little to the front of the right one. and both feet are a little angled outwards. for reference, the holes for the screws should form the line perpendicular to the human operators view.

note that the shins (canela.stl) have a wider end, which should be placed next to the thigh (coxa.stl).

place the fighters 15-20cm apart from each other, with the lines formed by the two screws from the base parallel to each other.

sharpen your tooth picks and let the games begin!
