Stable Flier

Overview

This is my best glider so far.

If you throw it with full force ,this model that can do a loop and continue flight. This is my only model than can do it.

I didn't try to imitate any creature in this project. I just wanted to make a glider that flies well.

The long neck allows for good weight distribution and good balance.

Narrow wings ensure low air resistance and fast flight.

A wide tail with vertical rudders allows for a very stable flight.

Instruction.

After printing, bend the tail slightly and set its side ends to a vertical position.

To get the color from the bottom, use the filament change option.

If you have an AMS or MMU, you can also color this model as you wish.

PLA print, layer height 0.2 mm, nozzle 0.4 mm, infill 100%

If you want you can add a little mass to the nose (plasticine, playdoh), but you have to also raise tail as well. 

If you do that model should fly more stable and straight but you need a lot of space because it travel quite long distance.
