Description
This puzzle was invented by Rik Brouwer in 2002. Pelikan made a number of copies in two contrasting woods. Six identical pieces assemble into a “Compound of Two Cubes”.
In order to get two cubes of contrasting colors, print three pieces in each of two colors. The pieces are very easy to print and do not require supports. Assembly is also easy, but the final shape is surprising. This version uses 4 cm cubes. Each piece has a volume of 13.33 cm^3, and the finished shape 80 cm^3.
