Description

Bring pumpkin chuckin' inside with this super cute rubber band powered Halloween catapult.

The catapult prints flat without supports and is designed in layers for a multicolor effect through filament swaps. Notches and tabs keep your rubber band in place.

The catapult is decorated with spider webs, skulls and a friendly jack-o-lantern. The swing arm is a witch's broom. Due to decorations there is a Side A and Side B.

Use an ordinary office rubber band for power. When printed at 150% we launched candy corn pumpkins 20 feet (6 meters)!

The pumpkin is printed separately to allow for extra color swaps. A single color file is also included.

The entire catapult fits on an Prusa Mini or Ender 3 at 100% (and up to 200% on a Cr10S).

Assembly Instructions

All files print FLAT with no supports. Yes, the broom prints ok without supports (keep the tab pointing up as I've prepared it for you).

Assemble catapult by inserting crossbars & swing arm into the holes in the frame. The larger bar goes on top, the swing arm goes in the middle (larger hole).

Add an ordinary rubber band to the top of the catapult – there's a notch to keep it in place – and behind the swing arm. Double the rubber band for extra power.

Add glue if you like, but the rubber band will hold everything in place.

*Tinkercad Skellies not included.
