Description
I have design this simple case using Fusion 360. Its the identical hinge system as my other case “Small Storage Box with lid and hinges” project. This one has two tabs to create a snap fit to prevent the lid from easily opening. The inside bottom side pocket dimensions for cards are 61 x 93 mm. So you may also use this case for other cards games.
There is no extra parts needed. The hinges are made of filament material.
Printing Instructions:
I used PRUSAMENT PETG filament for this project. There was no warpage and very good bed adherence for these flat parts. PLA is also a good option.
Infill 15%
No support
I reduced speed by 25% for the first layer.
Hinges Assembly Instructions:
Put the lid on the bottom and drill 2 mm holes on both sides to clean hinge holes.
Insert a small piece of filament, it should be exceeding about 3 mm on the side we will apply glue.
Add only one small drop of CA glue on the filament. The plan is to have glue only on the bottom case hinge.
Then pull the filament to the left and make it flush with the edge.
And last, cut the excess filament. Repeat on the other side.
The final detail:
The sticking black vinyl letters on the cover lid have been done on a CRICUT machine.
Hoping you like this playing cards case.
