Slimline Sleeved Card Box

Howdy, wonderful people!

It's a card box, but it's for sleeved cards! And this is a very simple, no-frills, sensible box, unlike the other box for sleeved cards that's being posted at the same time :D

This is designed to hold single-sleeved "standard" cards, which is to say 63mm x 88mm cards (e.g. Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, and one of the two common sizes of regular playing cards whose name changes depending on which continent you're on.) Anyway, what you really need to know is the dimensions of the box interior, which are:

Interior dimensions: 70mm wide, 96mm tall, and 70mm deep.

Back to the box, though! It's a classic slip-over lid design, which I would almost always design with a foot to the main box. However, in this case it's useful to be able to tuck the box into the upturned lid to avoid taking up undue space. The lid has an extended cut out to allow the inner box to be grasped for getting the inner back out again, too.

I toyed with the idea of putting magnets on this design, but that would require substantially thicker walls, and I really didn't want to make the walls on this one any thicker. So, slimline it stayed!

Print Description

These are individual regular-mode prints that need to fit together, so take care that the walls are nice and neat!

Print Dimensions

The lid occupies 83mm x 83mm on the print bed and is 103mm tall.

Supports Needed?

Not at all!  Designed for straightforward printing!

Scalability

This will scale easily, up or down! If scaling it dramatically, you might want to scale the lid slightly differently to the main body so that a good fit is maintained.

Print Orientation

The main box prints right-way-up while the lid prints upside-down, but they both look very similar in their opposite orientations!
