Viper Glider (The Best Glider You'll Find!!)

This glider can very easily be launched by hand, just as a paper airplane would. It glides very well.

There is also a stand for displaying your glider when not being used. I hope everyone enjoys this I have put many hours into it.

• I decided to call this the Viper Glider, because I find it resembles a serpent.

I have gone through so much filament trying to design a sturdy, stable, working glider. I was finally satisfied and impressed with this model, and I think you will be too!

The first version the COG was too far to the rear, causing it to stall out. So, without having to change the body and design too much, I created a pocket on the head for a small metal washer. Which equal out the COG for stable flight. 

1. Super glue the washer to the inside of the pocket
2. Super glue the plug and insert it into the pocket.

**Next you will want to bend the flap on the wings downward about 35 to 45 degrees.**

Lastly, I will show you the method I found to be the best for launching. I wrapped a rubber band around a book. You could use a filament box, or anything shaped like this. I pinch the tail of the glider between the rubber bands and let go. It launches very well this way.
