Wave 7 Puzzle Remix, with Sliding Case, Extra Tile Holder, and Other Revisions

This is a remix of Shawn Gano's excellent Wave 7 Puzzle. Every part of this is modified, so you'll need to print this whole set. It is not compatible with the original frame or tiles. Like his original, some of the tiles have been turned over on the print bed, so the puzzle will be harder.

IMPORTANT: This model features interlocking parts, which may print too tight or too loose on your printer. The case should slide on the frame easily. The tiles should fit into the frame without being too tight. For that reason, I am including a Fit Test, which features the same tolerances as the larger model. I HIGHLY recommend you print the Fit Test first and then tweak the XY Compensation (PrusaSlicer) or Horizontal Expansion (Cura/Bambu Slicer).

Changes from the original:

• New sliding case with a “Wave 7” logo I made. (Optional version without the logo.) 
• The case features a reservoir to hold the extra piece.
• The frame now has the instructions “Fit every piece” written on it. (Optional version without the text.) 
• The original tiles were too loose for me. They were so loose that I solved the puzzle incorrectly, yet I made all 7 pieces fit. I did some non-uniform scaling on the pieces and changed the width of the frame border to make everything fit better. I also made a few other cosmetic changes, such as increasing the frame edge fillets. 
• MRk_suchenfindengewinnen_de made a really cool frame remix with an extra piece holder, but I wanted to store the extra piece in the case, not the frame. There's something more aesthetically pleasing about it this way. 
• MattoDesign made a really cool snapping case, but it was a little too flimsy for me. His “77” logo cutout inspired my logo here. 
• New fit test to help you dial in the print. 

Instructions:

1. Print all parts. No supports are required. 
2. Slide the extra piece holder in the frame and secure with glue. See the video above to see how. Make sure you orient the piece correctly.
