VW T1 Bus Samba "Bulli" Kit Card

Summary

This is a model of a VW T1 Bus “Samba” in a kit / gift card style. Some characteristic details can be discovered.
After printing, the model can be assembled with the help of integrated connectors.
The wheels can be turned, but the car will not roll.

Versions

The complete set is available in a STL file for a one-color print.
There is a 3MF-file with predefined colors intended for users of AMS or MMU.
Otherwise, the body, tires and rims and the tires must be printed separately.

Print

Print with 0.15 layer hight or lower to bring up the details.
No supports are needed.
Use 3 perimeters and 20% infill.

Post processing

The small struts can be removed really quickly and cleanly using a side cutter.
Please remove the predesigned supports under the rear fender.

Assembly

The kit is easy to assemble. All parts fit together very well.
Use some grease for the hole in the rim so that the wheel turns more easily.
If a part should be loose, superglue can be used.
Please note: Please fit the tires on the rear axle first and only then fit the rims.

The fully assembled model has the following dimensions
Height: 66.4mm
Depth: 160mm
Width: 63.4mm

The complete kit card has the following dimensions when printed
Height: 50.4mm
Depth: 169mm
Width: 153.3mm

Scaling will work in a low range due to the tolerances.
