Copyright

Please note that this model is a remix of a printable posting I originally found in the library of User @M7MD5115. The original model has been removed though, creating a possible violation of the Creative Commons Attribution clause, so I feel obliged to add this here.

Moreover, (unproven) claims appeared in the comments, that the original model might have been a copyright violation. If you can get me any proof of that, please DM so I can investigate and act accordingly.

Colors and Tools

For my print I used a Prusa XL with extruder 1 for the body, extruder 2 for the golden fins and extruder 3 for the eyes and underside. I recommend a bright red or blue-silverish filament for the latter.

Filament

I used Eryone silk filament; it is cheap and it looks awesome, but it can be a bitch. You either need to print at very low temps like 178° and a very low retract setting or you will constantly get stuck filament errors, because there are many retracts in this model. If you set the temps higher than 200, you will not get stuck filament at any rate, but the silk filament will string all over the model like an old chewing gum and the result will look sad.

Printing

I printed at 110% scaling in 0.15mm layers. I really recommend a very adhesive bed like PEI and a wide brim because many parts have small footprints and fan out wide. I also recommend using a wipe tower, because on some heights of the model there is not enough infill space to properly wipe all toolchanges into it without danger of damaging the appearance.
