Description
You will need a 8x22x7 common skate bearing. Print the disc with only 10% infill to minimize its weight (disc volume is a mere 0.25 in3 if printed at 10% infill). Print the disc with the arrows pointing toward the bed. Print the bearing setting tool to fully seat the bearing onto the gear shaft - press it together in a vise or use a rubber mallet.
Use 1000 or even 1500 grit sandpaper if necessary to make sure the disc will come off the spindle in a totally frictionless manner.
At launch time make sure the disc arrows are pointing upward.
