FLP-06 Rush- Angled Talon Pump-Action Carbine

This is the Rush. It's light, handy, smooth, and can reach up to 220. It uses less than a kilo of filament (even with the stock), can be printed within 24 hours, and uses simple and common hardware. It takes angled Talon magazines.

Materials Required:

• 4" long 1.5" OD 1 3/8" ID plunger tube (SLAB/Esper/HYPR tube)
• 30cm barrel (I like .509)
• T4 flatbar
• Mainspring (Talon Claw length)
• 3x 25cm 6-32 threaded rods, and 6x hex nuts for same
• 2x M3x25mm screws
• 1x M3x20mm screw
• 16x M3x8mm screws, and two hex nuts for the same
• 3x 10-32x5/16" screws (Slug screws) and 3x hex nuts for same
• 1x 8mm long mag release spring
• 1x 15mm long catch spring
• 3x dash 123 O rings
• 2x 012 O rings
• (FOR OPTIONAL STOCK) 2x M3x30mm screws, 4x M3x25mm screws, 1x M3x20mm screw, 2x M3x8mm screw 4x hex nuts for the same, and 1x 8mm long spring.

Print Settings:

• Primary color at 4 walls, 20 percent infill. Brim and tree supports on shroud. Possibly brim on upper.
• Secondary color at 4 walls, 20 percent infill. Brim on picatinny rail and lower.
• Tertiary color at 100 percent infill. Supports on plunger.

Options:

There are currently options for flat or angled rear picatinny rail. The angled rail is at 3 degrees, and has a 4 notch flat section at the rear as well- I recommend using this option, you'll find it much easier to make hits with the angle. Also, you don't need a rail riser for your optic then. Whichever you choose, use the matching endcap.

There are metric options for pump, upper, ram, and endcap. The first three of those are for using M5 screws nuts and 12mmx4mm flatbar. The end cap allows you to substitute M3 rods and hex nuts. 

The folding stock is optional as well. If you choose to print this, print the folding base parts straight up with supports.

Tuning:

You should be able to get up to 220 with tuning. I reached that level with 6" of K25, 30cm .509, and Worker bamboos. You may find it harder- with my beta testers, I'm comfortable saying that 200 is about where you'll find it easy with K25. 788 will net you around 150-160, K31 about 100. 

By default, the mag release is set up to push in from the left side. If you want to set it up for the other side, just mirror the mag release and mag catch part.

9/5/24: Added a slightly thinner ram, should be more compatible with more .509 barrels. Previously, some barrels needed a deeper chamfer to seat the O ring. Original ram is still there.
