Mini Filament Spool

This is a two-piece mini filament spool I made for small lengths of 1.75 mm filament. The spool pieces glue together on a splined joint using a small amount of Cyanoacrylate glue (Krazy Glue). I use this spool to hold my Taulman 618 Nylon filament of which I use small amounts to "cold-pull" clean my extruder nozzle. It fits perfectly alongside my 1 kg reel so I always have it with my MakerGear M2. There are two versions, a 14 mm wide spool and an 18 mm wide spool. You can also use a spool half from each type and make a 16 mm wide version. The spool pictured on this page is the 18 mm wide version. Thanks for checking out my design ;o)
