These are frame components for a delta printer using 80/20 1010 (1") T-Slotted aluminum extrusions. The vertices are a derivative of mming1106's creation (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:208458).
- The vertices are sized for 1x1" beams (25.4mm).
- Access to the motor mounting bolts is provided through the face surface (requires a long Allen wrench).
- Beam mounting is sized for 80/20's button head socket screws and T-Nuts.
- There is cable access through the vertical beam mount (sized to ease cable routing).
- And the top belt pulley is affixed with a nut in the first bulkhead so that it can be tightened without binding the bearings. ( I used 3 washers to shore up the gaps.)
To assemble, you will need:
- 9 horizontal and 3 vertical 80/20 1010 T-Slotted aluminum beams
- 45x 80/20 button head socket screws and T-Nuts
- 6x 10mm x 4mm x 4mm flanged bearings for the belt pulleys
- 3x M5 bolts (35 to 40mm long) and nuts with nylon inserts for tensioning the belts
- 3x M4 bolts (25mm long), nuts with nylon inserts, and multiple washers for the belt pulleys
Sketchup files are included.
