Description
Mounts for SI22G Geiger-Mueller tubes (beta, gamma detector tube) and terminals.
These are part of a cosmic ray detector project.
18 Geiger-Mueller tubes are mounted in two layer, forming a 9x9 matrix of radiation detecting cells. The tubes can be replaced individually, without disassembly of the mounts. A more stable version of the mount is printed as one unit and does not allow for tubes to be individually replaced.
Tubes are shielded with aluminum plates.
The mounting trays are aligned and mounted on the plate with 1" standoffs.
