Description
This is used to mount a power supply to 40mm extrusion. I am personally using openbuilds 2040 and 4040 extrusion and this mount works well. I was worried it wouldnt be beefy enough with just the side mounting screws, but it is actually really sturdy.
Obviously, youll print 2 of these per psu.
I used m5x10mm button head screws and m5 washers to mount it to my PSU (i disassembled my psu and tapped holes to m5 instead of using the m4).
I used m5 x 16mm bolts and washers to mount the psu to the extrusion.
Note, flip the part over in your slic3r. The recessed screw/washer holes should be facing up.
9/7/2016 - I tested the first revision and it worked great. However, my psu is pretty thick, at 52mm, so I wanted to offset it a tad so that its even/below the top surface of my extrusion, because I eventually plan to add a "roof" to my delta. I basically made the brackets taller and then moved the psu screw holes down 7mm. I added these files. Let me know if you need a remix for a different one. I added some photos and I am marking this as complete.
