Steering Column Holster - Fits Ruger LCP / Ford Expedition '07

This concealed holster attaches below the steering column in a 2007 expedition using existing screws and holds a Ruger LCP compact pistol. It has a fairly easy entry for the pistol but a firm grip when fully inserted. Trigger is covered when holstered, and barrel points to left side door. Holster/pistol position allows the full range of motion for the tilt wheel and obviously does not interfere with the steering wheel.

As you can see in the pics, I printed it in red and then painted black, my preference would've been to print in flat black but I didn't have the filament handy. The slots in each flank of the holster are to reduce delamination risk when printing - try it sometime, it works.

** if I were to change anything about this, I'd thicken up the top and bottom plates a little. I accidentally cracked mine a bit when I was removing the supporting material (I had done very dense support to help this big part print). I may come back around and make that change, but I don't have time tonight.
