Polygonal cat head lamp

When i saw Fredbartels project i decided to remix it! Using only equilateral triangle i creat a shape that looks like the head of a cat. In the futer i want to make this form changeable so each person can choose one that he preferes.

This is still a work in progress because i need to work on the support structure on the back and on the pieces that connect triangles to make them removable!

Any way you will finde an .stl files with triangle and connection pieces ( they are 2 so you can glue them toghether like in images 1, 2 and 3 ), there will be also a blueprint of back structure to cut from cardboard.

When al pieces are glued toghether you will probably need a metal wire to make them maintain the shape. i connect wire and cat head with cable ties ( temporary solution ), and did the same to connect a cardboard structure to the head.

I used a RGB LED strip, cutted and resoldered with some cables to the form i need.
