Description
Holster for a Leatherman Wave and optionally the 2 tip cards (Bit Kit), Bit Driver Extender and/or a flashlight.
The configuration is achieved by combining the STLs of the central body of the holster with the right and left side STLs that are desired (see figure 1). Use Freecad, Autodesk Meshmixer, etc. With merge function.
The left part support for the flashlight is for the Nitecore Sens AA model. It will be necessary to redesign it for other flashlights. It can also be redesigned to incorporate other gadgets. Use STL named Blank or the FreeCad design as a support.
The anti-loss lock consists of a latch that takes advantage of the anti-locking of the Leatherman itself. When inserted, it locks into the sheath until the button is pressed while the multi tool is pushed up. This prevents accidental loss by moving or tilting the holster.
As a bonus there is a design for the Wave only, without accessories.
Notes:
The belt clip should be printed sideways to present the resistance in the correct direction once mounted on the holster. If printed with ABS, use PVC cement.
Once printed, pass the highest piece of the button (Button_int) through the hole of the holster out, and fit and glue to the small piece (Button_ext).
To remove the Bit Driver Extender, lever with the tip of the multitool (Image 2).
It is easier to remove the tip cards when the multitool is not in the holster.
Funda configurable para Leatherman Wave con bloqueo anti-pérdida.
Funda para alojar la Leatherman Wave, y opcionalmente las 2 tarjetas de puntas (Bit kit), la extensión del destornillador y/o una linterna.
La configuración se consigue combinando los STL del cuerpo central de la funda con los STL de laterales derecho e izquierdo que se deseen (ver imagen 1). Usar Freecad, Autodesk Meshmixer, etc. con la función merge.
El lateral izquierdo con soporte para la linterna es para el modelo Nitecore Sens AA. Será necesario rediseñarlo para otras linternas. También se puede rediseñar para incorporar otros gadgets. Usar como soporte los STL nombrados como Blank o el diseño de FreeCad.
El bloqueo anti-pérdida consiste en un pestillo que aprovecha el resalte del seguro anti-cierre de la propia Leatherman. Al introducirla, queda bloqueada en el interior de la funda hasta que se pulsa el botón a la vez que se empuja la multiherramienta hacia arriba. Esto evita que se pueda salir accidentalmente con el movimiento o al inclinar la funda.
Como bonus hay un diseño para la Wave unicamente, sin accesorios.
Notas:
La presilla para el cinturón se debe imprimir de lado para que presente la resistencia en el sentido correcto una vez montada en la funda. Si se imprime con ABS, usar pegamento para PVC.
Una vez impreso, pasar la pieza más alta del botón (Button_int) por el agujero de la funda hacia fuera, y encajar y pegar a la pieza pequeña (Button_ext).
Para extraer la extensión del destormillador, hacer palanca con la punta de la multiherramienta (Imagen 2).
Es más fácil extraer las tarjetas de puntas cuando la multiherramienta no está en la funda.
