Description
This is an update to my first, original, customizable OpenSCAD design. This is Version 2.0 of the car vent sunglass holder with a ball and socket connector. It is very small and unobtrusive on your dash, but keeps the sunglasses handy. The original version is here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1448661
The cool thing about this Thingy, is the printing of the ball in the socket all at once. There is just a little resistance to the ball turning when you first take it off the print bed. But, a little twist breaks it free and it turns nicely in the socket.
Version 2.0 adds wedges to the end of the "arms" of the Sunglass holder. Thanks for the idea DDD_guy. I've added two wedges and made it all parametric.
