Description
Mount for the BL Touch sensor.
The mount is meant to allow the BL Touch sensor to be added to my A8 Dual Bowden setup without having to reprint any of the major parts. It slips in behind the fans.
It prints without support.
The mount is design with all the specified mounting dimension built in. I did not have to use any shims or do any sanding to get the mount at the proper height. I recommend slowing your print speed down and using the best resolution your printer is capable of doing. This should help make the mount as accurate as possible.
Using this sensor allows you to remove the servo/Z sensor from the rear of the carriage. This should give you slightly more X travel and print area.
The mount should place the sensor at X -26.98, Y -26.8 from the left extruder nozzle.
I used X -27, Y -27. You will have to carefully set the Z offset based on your nozzle height.
Double check your wiring and polarity before wiring the new sensor up. I used the same wires from the rear servo and switch.

I'll add some pictures of the mount on my machine shortly.
EDIT: I added some pictures.
