Description

I work at a computer shop as a tech and we do a lot of solid state upgrades on imacs, got fed up with ssd caddies that were just not perfect... this could be better but will do the job for now.... This basically replaces all the apple hdd mounting hardware... handy if you cant find it... refer to photos for orientation... should fit both the 21.5 and 27" imac from late 2009 to 2012... add a dab of superglue or acetone to the bottom posts as they tend to snap off.

4-3-18 changed the imac grommet mounting to fit better - this new version 4-1 is a better fit, everything else remains the same, i have had some people only print the larger part and use that on its own, as its an ssd i think the additional botttom mounting can be discarded if needed, but if you are using a HDD use both parts

PS PLA works just fine, use supports from bottom of build plate when printing, if you are comfortable with ABS print using that...
