Description

I designed this from scratch with 3D Builder (Microsoft Program). I don't have my own 3D printer, so I'm uploading the design here in order to access it from the library where I can print it. It is a makeup palette organizer, particularly for eyeshadow palettes. I have several organizers for my makeup, but I still have too many palettes to fit, so I decided I would give it a try and design one. This is my first 3D design ever, and I figured I might as well make my first print something I can put to good use. I'm going to try to have it printed with bronze material, but I will update this post after I attempt it!

3D Builder would not let me merge all of the individual objects together in my design, but I'm hoping it will print all connected anyway.. I'll let you know how it turns out and upload pics!

Edit: As you can see, the last pictures are of the result when I printed this back in 2017. I didn't pop out the extra pieces that printed between the poles (see second to last picture) for the sake of extra support. Even so, it was quite flimsy, and it broke in transit during our international move. If you want something similar that is more practical, I would recommend shortening and thickening each divider, and not using thin poles like I did. Also worth noting is that I used a very large 3D printer free of charge at a library. This is a large object so it may not be practical for many printers.

Good luck!
