Gaggia Classic Replacement Drip Tray For Mugs and Higher Cups

This is a replacement part for the original drip tray that comes with the Gaggia Classic Espresso machine. Unfortunately the original one is too high to fit a bigger mug under the drain but in turn, gives plenty of room for dripped water/coffee.

This new one takes a bit of the room for the drip and adds more space for the mug. See pictures to get a feeling of what changes.

You can still use the original steel grate inlay but you should use a new, longer stainless tube. Otherwise the water coming out of the machine after pulling coffee will be spread over the place. You might want to look for a 164mm long tube with 6mm in diameter.
