Description
Hi all!
This is an un-tested mould for a grip that can be used as a comfy grip on a broom,
rake, mop, bike or anywhere you think you can use it.
It is based on the same principle as my 2-in-1 Broom buddy handle/Apollo model.
You can download it here - https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/hand-tools/broom-buddy-3d-printed-2-in-1-mould
To make a grip, follow these steps:
1 - Mix up a batch of proto-putty (silicone with food coloring as a
curing agent and corn starch as a filler/anti-sticky....stuff)
See Grant thompson's how-to video here - https://youtu.be/7fwytA5r2Mw
2 - Mould the proto-putty around the plunger.
3 - Place the plunger into the mould with the locating pin in it's slot.
4 - place the other side over and squeese tightly.
5 - Assemble the alignment pieces
6 - Push the plunger the rest of the way in.
7 - wait 20-30 min and dissasemble.
8 - remove the cured silicone handle and carefully remove the plunger.
---Theoretically!---
I have yet to test this, but the concept works on my other models.
