Description

Here is my hot air gun holder, or maybe anything you want if you make your own adapter like I did for a little 5V fan. (Please share if you make your own adapter!)

Its quick release tension clasp makes it easy to remove and change the attachments, I made it to work with my hot air gun to help me desoldering SMD components but I though that I could take advantage of its ease of changing the attachments and I keep thinking of what other attachments to make!

I found the little fan on a gas station and I wondered if I could make something out of it, it is the little thing that plugs into your phone, drains your battery like crazy and blows your phone's charging circuit (I only plugged it into my old iphone once).
But when taken apart and soldered onto a USB's 5V, I am not afraid of loosing one of my my 6 USB wall adapters.

Please also note that I changed few screws in the lamp's arm to 8-32 screws and wing nuts for more convenient tightening, you can probably get away with tightening them using a screw driver and pliers but they loosen up sometimes and I like being able to tighten them up on a fly.

If you have any questions please post them in comments!
