Update 12/5/17 I added another type of clip that loads from the top, scaled at 10x.
When I added a dash cam to my second car, I found that it was not possible to hide the power cable under the headliner at the top of the windshield. The clips that were furnished with the camera were large and the would be visible at the top of the windshield, so a small clip was needed to complete the installation.
Here is a VERY SMALL clip to support a round power cable anywhere there's a need. The clip is sized for a round cable about 3.4 mm in diameter, but the model can be scaled for a different size cable or longer mounting surface. The cable in the picture is slightly smaller than the one in the car. The coin is a U.S. one cent. You can always terminate the print to shorten the mounting surface. I attached double sided foam tape to the bottom of the clips and trimmed the tape to size with a razor knife.
The .STL file is 10X size, so scale it down to 0.1 for starters, unless you are supporting something larger or smaller. It's a tiny part, so expect some challenges along the way.
The part is designed to print the rounded clip portion with two perimeters @ 0.4 mm wide. If your settings results in a wall that is too thin, maybe I can add another item that will work for you.
