Dry cat food dispensor

After the success of the water dish I wondered how a food dish could work with a Gatorade
bottle. Well here it is.

I originally printed this on 12/14/2017, I found out right away that the size of the kibble I
had caused a log jam at the neck of the bottle. I then designed the pivot piece to hopefully
rectify the situation. After a few days the cats were able to figure it out and they are now
able to empty the bottle in about 3-4 days. Which is about how much I can fit in a 32oz
bottle based on what I was giving them on a daily bases.

After witnessing one of the cats head butt the bottle to make it tilt the other way and have
food dispense, I decided it was time to publish it. I suspect that smaller kibble will not
need the pivot piece.

01/09/2018 I just added the funnel for quick filling the bottle. It works well when pouring on to it, next refill I will test how it does scooping directly out of the bag. At 25% infill, this one seems plenty sturdy to do this.

04/22/18 I recently discovered that the 59.5oz bottle of Tropicana Orange Juice bottle fits the threads on this perfectly. More volume and seems to feed a bit better without any outside influence. Give it a try if you like.
